Chapter Philanthropy

Locally, the Phi Mu Eta Beta chapter supports Seattle Children’s Hospital, our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Sisters attend hospital tours, donate books, and help in other ways as well.

Phi Mu participates in the Dance Marathon at UW to support Seattle Children's Hospital. Dance Marathon is a nationwide movement involving college and high school students at more than 250 schools across the country, all raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in their community. We participate in the 8 hour long event in which students stay on their feet through dancing, games and entertainment in celebration of the total amount raised that year. This year, the Dance Marathon at UW raised $17,290.04 for Seattle Children's, and Phi Mu is proud to have played a large part in fundraising!

We also host a Voodoo Doughnut feed to raise money for Seattle Children's! It's a fun and delicious way to support our philanthropy.

Additionally, we participate in other philanthropies such as Relay for Life and events hosted by other fraternities, sororities, and campus/local organizations. Giving back to our community is a core value of ours here at Phi Mu!
